Out of Network

Out of network means I am not paneled with your insurance. Many insurance plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network services. If your plan includes this option, I can provide you with a detailed receipt (called a superbill) to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Before scheduling, I recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your out-of-network benefits, including coverage rates and deductible requirements. Payment is due at the time of service, and reimbursement will depend on your specific plan.

Questions to ask your insurance provider:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

  • What is my copay or coinsurance for mental health services?

  • Do I need to meet a deductible first? If so, how much is it, and how much have I met so far?

  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions I can have per year?

  • Do I need pre-authorization or a referral from a primary care physician to access mental health services?

Teletherapy

I am currently providing therapy sessions online only. Services are only provided if you live in Michigan as I am licensed in Michigan only at this time. Teletherapy sessions offer the same experience as in-person sessions but are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant video platform. You can use a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Services

I specialize in working with individual adults ages 18 and older.
